AAHA is an organization that accredits veterinary practices for meeting a simple standard: Excellence in everything they do.
In order to earn accreditation, a practice must undergo routine inspection and examination on approximately 900 factors of running a truly exceptional veterinary hospital.
Because of its voluntary nature and stringent standards, fewer than 15% of veterinary practices are AAHA accredited.
We are proud to be one of the few.
Because when it comes to love, nothing less than the best will do.
External parasites such as fleas and ticks can be irritating to pets and can cause skin issues and internal diseases.
We recommend year-round treatment as fleas are found in this area in every season.
Occasionally flea populations reach such high levels that treatment of the home and environment becomes necessary.
We offer a number of prescription parasite products as well as an over-the-counter topical flea preventative.

Up to 80% of pets are affected by various stages of dental disease.
At Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital, we are fully prepared should your pet need to have diagnostic testing beyond the typical exam.
These important advanced diagnostic tools are used to assess the health and well-being of our patients inside and out.
Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital is very proud to use Idexx digital x-ray systems.
This newer form of radiographic imagery eliminates the need for film and development.
X-rays are now faster, easier, and less stressful to the animals.
Digital images are viewed immediately on the computer screen.
Surgeries and elective procedures must be scheduled in advance.
Surgeries are performed Monday through Friday, and patients are admitted between 7:15 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
For your convenience, your pet may be checked in the night before at no additional charge.
Food or treats must be withheld after 10pm the night before surgery, but it is not necessary to withhold water.
Please call if you have questions or schedule a consultation if you would like a detailed estimate for a procedure.
Cold Laser therapy is a noninvasive treatment to reduce pain, inflammation, and speed healing.
This deep tissue laser therapy uses a beam of laser light to penetrate tissue without damage.
Most treatments take only minutes and can be used to enhance other treatment plans.
Laser therapy has been successful in treating post-surgical pain and many acute and chronic conditions.
