He always enjoyed animals and wanted to be a veterinarian.
Trent grew up taking care of various animals at home and working on his uncle's dairy farm.
He completed his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 1998.
Trent then joined North Side Animal Clinic in May of 2000.
