Dr. Bettegowda - Dr. Gowda to his clients and fellow staff-grew up in India to a family with extensive agricultural and farming roots, which influenced him to pursue veterinary medicine.
In 2000, Dr. Gowda graduated from veterinary college in Bangalore with his DVM degree.
After vet school, he pursued a scientific research career in animal reproduction studying animal eggs, for which he was awarded a PhD from Michigan State University in 2007.
He then furthered his science training at the University of California, San Diego.
