Dr. Reese is a native Southern Californian who took an indirect route to veterinary medicine.
She graduated from UC Riverside in business and started her career in accounting.
After obtaining an MBA and working her way up the corporate ladder of an international manufacturing company in Orange County (including a managing stint in Hong Kong), she decided to change careers to her childhood love of veterinary medicine.
She returned to school while working as both a part time Controller and a part time veterinary technician before attending veterinary school at UC Davis.

Well, quite simply, like all cats, they determine their own schedule and they like to sleep.
So, if you don't see our cats it's probably because they are sleeping in the doctors' office.
She was originally rescued by a Rescue House volunteer, however due to her age and a number of medical conditions, it was determined that she would be un-adoptable to the general public.
As Rescue House started putting out "feelers" to their network of volunteers (to find her a permanent home), we noticed that our staff was quickly falling in love with her.

Bring water: Nothing is more fun for your dog than being out in the sun, and running along the beach.
However, like humans, after all that exercise, your dog is going to need to replenish itself.
Without fresh water a dog may drink the salt water.
This may not be toxic, but it can make your dog dehydrated or sick.
Watch the hot sand!
Hot sand can burn paws!
Especially during summer afternoons, be very careful of hot sand and asphalt.
If your dog is small enough, you can carry your dog across the dry sand, otherwise, consider bringing booties, or baby socks that can fit over the paws.

Reese was extremely helpful and informative during my visit with my newly adopted cat.
She answered all of my questions and truly took the time to explain different possible issues with him.
She is a warm and caring doctor who also has a great sense of humor.
I have also taken my former cat to Eastridge Animal Hospital to see Dr. Rodriguez.
She also went above and beyond to get my cat and I through her chromic kidney disease by seeing her multiple times and even calling to check up on her.
Her caring and warmth will never be forgotten.
