Services
Pine Plains Veterinary Associates was founded by Dr. Edward Sadler, who opened the practice on Farview Avenue in Pine Plains in 1932.
His patients were primarily farm animals, but Dr. Sadler also treated pets in a small clinic.
Today we are an American Animal Hospital Association member hospital that strives to embody the very best of the veterinary profession.
As the reputation of Pine Plains Veterinary Associates continued to grow, so did the clinic itself.
Additions were made to the building in 1971 and 1981.
Rebecca assists in many ways, including working with clients, assisting in the lab, prepping patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia and working with the doctors in the exam rooms.
In addition to her many years of experience, Rebecca is licensed in New York as a Veterinary Technician and has a Bachelor of Science in Business, a Master's in Education and an Associate in Veterinary Technology.
At home, she has two mixed breed dogs named Mater and Tag, a cat named Sweety and a miniture horse named Spy.
The reason we have been successful for more than 80 years is because we are committed to keeping pace with the continually evolving nature of veterinary medicine.
This includes keeping up-to-date with the importance and effect of vaccines on disease and the most recent advances in medicine, diagnostics and surgery.
We also continue to update our facility and equipment to ensure our compassionate and skilled veterinarians have the tools they need for treating illness and maintaining your animal's health.
When traveling for business or taking your family on vacation, there's enough stress without having to worry about who is going to take care of your beloved animal companion.
This is especially true if your pet has a chronic or acute medical condition that requires a caregiver with some veterinary knowledge and experience.
Rather than impose on a neighbor or rely on a pet sitter with little animal care training, choose Pine Plains Veterinary.
We offer veterinarian supervised boarding for companion animals.
