Alpine Animal Hospital
Only 1 person is allowed to come in with the patient. Curbside service is still available if you prefer - just call and let us know! If your pet is scheduled for surgery or to spend the day with us, we will still be doing curbside service to minimize the "human traffic jam" scenario. If you are picking up food or prescriptions, please pay for them in advance prior to arriving and then it will be a pick-up and go.

Again, if you would prefer delivery to your vehicle, we are happy to oblige! We have missed you all and are looking forward to seeing you again! We appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve you and your four-legged friends. Thanks to you all for your patience and understanding throughout this difficult time. Alpine Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital located in Whitefish, MT.

We focus on the care of dogs and cats. The doctors and health care team at Alpine Animal Hospital pledge to treat our clients as we would our own families, and to treat our clients' pets as though they were our own.

Immunizations are an important part of keeping your pet safe and healthy.
We recommend starting a vaccine series, as well as deworming, at 8 weeks of age.
Vaccines need to be boostered at regular intervals to help protect your pet from diseases.
For more information see our FAQ section on What shots does my puppy/kitten need?
Wellness exams are a critical piece in maintaining your pet's good health.
Pets on average age 7 years to one calendar year.
Because pets age more rapidly than us, it is important to have your pet examined a minimum of once every year.
Spaying and neutering is an important part of your pet's health, as well as a responsible option to help control the pet population.
Spaying is an elective ovariohysterectomy performed on female animals.
Neutering is elective castration of male animals.
Have you ever wondered what does it involve to have your pet spayed or neutered?
Here at Alpine Animal Hospital we pride ourselves on the individualized attention our surgery patients recieve for an important and sometimes scary day (for owner and pet).
Do you board your dog, have your dog professionally groomed, take your dog to daycare, a park, or training classes?
Does your dog travel with you?
If you answer yes to any of the previous questions then your dog would benefit from Canine Influenza Virus (CIV) vaccines.
There continues to be outbreaks of the flu in multiple areas of the country and vaccination is the best way to prevent this disease from affecting your dog.
Once the viruses are in an area, the chances of these diseases spreading are extremely high.
