Our goal at Madison Veterinary Hospital is to give our patients comprehensive health care with the same compassion that we would give our own animals. For that reason, we have only outstanding licensed and certified health providers on our team. Dr. W. Andrew Rollo graduated from Michigan State University in 2004 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

While at MSU, he became the second president of the Veterinary Practice Builders Association, helping to create scholarship opportunities for veterinary students to learn about the business side of veterinary medicine. Dr. Rollo has been on the Veterinary Economics advisory board for the past several years, as well as being a contributing author to the journal.

He also does speaking engagements on veterinary health topics. Dr. Rollo treats dog, cats, and pocket pets. He specializes in stem cell therapy, an alternative form of treatment for a variety of conditions in animals such as arthritis. He loves spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three children, and he enjoys running, hiking, and cottaging in northern Michigan.
Services
If you are seeking a hospital where quality and compassionate services will always be available, Madison Veterinary Hospital is waiting to welcome you to our facility.
We invite you to explore all the options we can offer your pet or contact us with any questions.
Pet health plans-We know that you care deeply for your pet, but we also understand that pet health care is not inexpensive.
At Madison Veterinary Hospital, we bundle services together in a Pet Health Plan to keep your pet's health up and your prices low.
An important part of your pet's health is knowing what lies beneath the fur.
When your pet arrives for his or her first visit, our veterinarians will examine your pet from nose to tail.
We use this as a baseline to create your pet's personalized health plan and monitor your pet's health throughout his or her lifetime.
This can be beneficial as your pet ages and his or her body changes.
Healthy teeth are a key component of healthy pets.
Maintaining a regimen of oral health care goes beyond the elimination of bad breath or discolored teeth, it eliminates the threat of infections entering your pet's bloodstream and a common source of pain in our pets.
At Madison Veterinary Hospital, we've always had high standards for your pet's oral care and we continue to raise the bar.
Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation "LASER" employs the use of a laser beam to activate certain areas of the body in order to gain very specific types of therapeutic response.
Therapy laser is a noninvasive procedure that works using a variety of methods.
The laser light penetrates deeply into the tissue providing an anti-inflammatory response by causing vasodilation (widens the blood vessels) and activates the lymphatic drainage system.
This process creates a reduction in swelling caused by bruising or inflammation.
We are very proud and excited to offer Health Plans at Madison Veterinary Hospital.
We developed and launched our Health Plans as a commitment to our clients to help them take excellent care of their companions.
In 2008 economic times were extremely hard in Southeast Michigan.
With the banking crisis, housing crisis and financial institutions suffering and two automotive companies declaring bankruptcy our community was hit very hard with their own personal finances.
We began to see many cases coming in on a daily basis of pets that needed health care and owners unable to afford the services needed to help their pets.
