North East Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital offering a wide variety of services including routine preventive care, surgical services, dentistry and much more. Additionally, we offer many contemporary veterinary medical services including therapeutic laser treatment and acupuncture. At North East Animal Hospital, our goal is to provide you and your pet with a high standard of care and to offer and administer the most current and emerging therapies.

Since North East Animal Hospital was established in 2012, our mission has been to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care for pets in the Elkton area and surrounding communities.
Services
Born and resided in the Lehigh Valley, PA most of her life.
She earned a BS from Penn State University, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University.
Dr. Hanlin has completed specialized training in veterinary dentistry, nutrition, feline medicine, and several modalities of holistic veterinary medicine.
She has been actively working as a small animal veterinarian since 1988.
Dr. Hanlin earned certification in Animal Chiropractic care in 2002 at Options for Animals.
She completed a 120 hour course in Veterinary Acupuncture at Tufts Veterinary School in 2005.
Pet acupuncture is a safe technique consisting of the insertion of needles into specific healing pressure points throughout your pet's body.
According to the American Veterinary Dental Society more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by the age of 3. Dental disease can be very uncomfortable for pets and the longer it is left untreated, the more complicated and expensive it becomes to treat.
Furthermore, certain dental diseases can lead to issues with your pet's heart, liver and kidneys, and can also flood their body and bloodstream with harmful bacteria.
