Nonantum Veterinary Clinic
Nonantum is an 8 doctor companion animal veterinary practice in Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. We strive to tailor each treatment plan to the individual needs of the owner and pet at an affordable cost. We are fortunate to have expertly staffed, state of the art referral hospitals nearby and do not attempt to duplicate that service. Nonantum has been supported by a diverse and loyal clientele who, each day, teach us the art of caregiving, devotion, and trust.

Our pet owners have patiently encouraged us through a four year transition, as we have evolved into a modern practice in a beautiful new facility. The physical change has been enormous, but we remain committed to a practice philosophy that the Nonantum staff and clients have developed together over many years: to provide the best patient care in a compassionate, enjoyable learning environment.
Services
Nonantum (Non-an'-tum) is an Algonquin Indian word which means "a place of celebration and rejoicing" or "a place of water with life".
The Roberts family took it as the name of their farm on Auburn Road when they moved to Chester County in 1920.
Likewise, in 1981, we, their descendants, adopted the name for our farm, home, and business on Good Hope Road.
Nonantum Veterinary Clinic had its humble beginnings in 1983.
It started as a farm and small animal house-call practice.
The practice soon needed more space and utilized a converted chicken house on the farm.
Our team of skilled doctors, veterinary technicians, and receptionists work together to provide your pets excellent care.
All doctors and staff participate in continuing education to ensure they are up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
We recommend annual exams and using heartworm preventative year-round to ensure that your dog is as healthy as possible.
It is especially important to keep cats that go outdoors up-to-date on their rabies vaccine.
We now offer a vaccine for cats that lasts for 3 years.
