Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine with compassion with an emphasis on client education.
We love to educate! We strongly believe in utilizing low-stress techniques to make your pet (and you) feel comfortable during their visit. Located in Southfield, we are a quick drive from Berkley, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, and other surrounding areas in MI. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during their lifetime.
Our staff is trained to help understand your pet's behaviors and to correct inappropriate behavior when it arises.

Greenfield Animal Hospital was founded in 1956 and has served the Metro Detroit area with pride ever since.
Dr. Jillian Shencopp started as a kennel attendant when she was just 16 years old.
She worked in many roles at the hospital until leaving for MSU.
After graduating, she came back to Greenfield Animal Hospital as a proud Veterinarian in 2016.
In June of 2021, Dr. Shencopp and her partner, Evie Fredenburg acquired Greenfield Animal Hospital from the previous owner, Dr. Michael Hood.
Dr. Hood knew it was important to keep Greenfield Animal Hospital "in the family" and out of corporate hands.
