How long have you been at Mellina Animal Hospital or in the veterinary profession?
I graduated from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 1978.
Upon graduation, I immediately drove to Alaska and started practicing veterinary medicine right away in Fairbanks at a very busy small animal hospital.
I gained a lot of experience in medicine and surgery rapidly.
Located in central Alaska, there was no place to send cases for consultation or help, so we "did it all."
