Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic
I have been to too many vets to count. Vets I went to high school with (many years ago), vets that were recommended by friends or good reviews. Overtime and over 30+ dogs I have seen likely 30 or more vets and I have NEVER felt as comfortable as I do with Lookout Mountain. Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic provides excellent medical care for your pets in a warm, friendly environment, using state-of-the-art equipment by an experienced and well-educated staff.

The clinic has been operating at the same location for more than 30 years and has an extensive list of loyal, long-time clients. Most families love their dogs and cats as much as they love their children and want their animals to receive only the best medical care. That's what you'll find at Lookout Mountain. Dr. Schure and Dr. Cook have been practicing together for nearly 25 years.

It's amazing to think that the wonderful Dr. Edens has been with us for five years. And now we welcome our friend Dr. Courtney Leibering to the family in 2021.
Services
As a teenager, Adam Schure vacillated between wanting to be a physician and a veterinarian.
But after working summers and vacations at a Pittsburgh veterinary clinic through high school and college, he knew he wanted to be a vet.
Adam did his undergraduate work at Carnegie-Mellon University and earned his VMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduation in 1996, he accepted an internship at a clinic in Scottsdale, and a year later joined Lookout Mountain where Dr. Cook became his long-time mentor and friend.
We at Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic welcome our new patients.
Many important forms to help you during your visit can be downloaded via the New Client Forms page.
They include forms for new clients, surgery day facts, and labwork information.
We have also provided a list of informational websites that we believe to be accurate and trustworthy to help with many questions you may have.
When your loving friend needs a surgical procedure---whether it is a spay, mass removal, dental or anything else---these forms are designed to help you on that big day.
LMVC hopes these forms will answer a lot of general questions in regard to lab work, surgical day procedures, and surgeries in general.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unplanned expense strikes as well.
Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
Teachers, Seniors, military, and rescue organizations all receive certain discounts.
LMVC is also proudly partnered with Soldier's Best Friend, a wonderful organization that provides U.S. military veterans living with combat-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with Service or Therapeutic Companion dogs, most of which are rescued from local shelters.
