She received her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University where she then went on to graduate from the Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine.
She has worked in a busy small animal general practice where she was able to care for a wide variety of patients.
She is passionate about the human-animal bond and behavior medicine.
