Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Aric Remen, who is a licensed, experienced Scottsdale veterinarian.
Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Desert Tails Animal Clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Aric Remen was born in Puerto Rico and was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He earned a B.S. in Environmental Resources, with a concentration in Wildlife Habitat Management from Arizona State University in 1995.
Before starting veterinary school, he worked on a variety of wildlife projects, including Urban Coyote Project in Tucson.
In 2000, Aric then went on to Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies.
He attended Colorado State University for one year of clinical studies and earned his D.V.M from Ross in 2003.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle the medical care necessary for your pet.
