She took heed to their words, and set her mind towards helping save the lives of animals.
Today, she's a veterinarian at the Cat and Dog Clinic of Bellevue, so it's safe to say that she has fulfilled her dreams!

She was absolutely mesmerized by the resilience, courage, intelligence and dedication that animals possess.

To pursue her dream, Laureen followed in her sister's footsteps and attended an online program at St. Petersburg College.
Over the years, Laureen owned many pets, from cats and pocket pets to tropical fish and budgies.
