Services
To provide high quality veterinary services exclusively for feline patients in a low stress, clean and comfortable environment.
We are a primary care veterinarian clinic dedicated to offering outpatient services for domestic cats.
We are a husband and wife team ( yes.we get along well :) so you will always speak to one of us.
Let's face it, practice makes PURRFECT.
Cats get nervous when they are removed from their home and placed in an unfamiliar environment.
Driven by instincts and territory woes, they often react to these insecurities in a variety of ways.
Should your cat need surgery, we offer diagnostics such as blood work, close surgical monitoring, post-operative pain medications and loving after care for our patients.
Many surgeries are done at our clinic, but occasionally the doctor might feel a patient would be better served by the skills of a specialist surgeon in which case we will help arrange a referral.
Spays and Neuters are referred to TCAP off of Greenville Ave. in Allen.
This is a non profit organization that greatly helps animal overpopulation with providing routing spays and neuters.
Dr. Dana Crigger is a 2000 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
She first started working at a small animal practice in Allen working with her mentor, Dr. Mike Overton.
In 2002, with the help from her family and friends, Dr. Crigger opened the Cat Hospital of Collin County.
Since then it has been a very rewarding journey.
While Dr. Dana and her family have or have had cats, dogs, fish, birds, rodents, and horses, the cat is the animal we chose to focus our veterinary clinic on.
During business hours we will do our best to work a patient in.
HOWEVER, PLEASE realize that we are a solo practice, and often times our clinic is full.
Be prepared to seek veterinarian care at another practice that has available hands.
It is helpful to keep a list of nearby clinic numbers on hand too.
If after business hours, take your cat to the nearest 24 hour emergency clinic in your area.
We are Primary Care Facility.
For 24 hr/ICU needs, there several centers and ER facilities to choose from.
Do I need an appointment to have my cat examined?
Appointments help us arrange our time so that every pet and owner receive our full attention.
If the available appointment times are difficult for you to make, consider arranging a drop off appointment with us.
For your kitty's safety and comfort, we recommend bringing him/her in a kennel crate, along with a note explaining the reason for the visit and any other concerns you may have.
At the appointed time, we will then examine your kitty, provide any necessary and/or approved treatment.
