Our mission is to provide quality veterinary care at an affordable price in a caring and beautiful environment. In 2002 Doctors Charles Jones and Dawn Jones wanted to practice veterinary medicine in a loving, family based environment that focused on superb healthcare for all animals. This led them to open Mercy Animal Hospital and since its beginnings it has grown into a renowned practice for all areas of healthcare for animals.
In 2013 Mercy Animal Hospital moved to its current site on Sardis Church Road. Our new building was built with the intentions of easy access to animals, adequate room for surgical procedures, open-air feel for employees and clients as well as immaculate kennels for our boarding animals.

One of the most overlooked areas of healthcare for our animals is their dental health.
It may seem ridiculous to brush your dog's teeth, but that is just what they need!
Food that gets caught between the teeth and gums can quickly attract bacteria growth and cause infections that may be difficult to treat if not caught on time.
Animals can also suffer from abscessed teeth, gum disease, oral cancers and even rotten teeth.
The doctors at Mercy Animal Hospital and their staff are well trained in the areas of animal dentistry and can help get your pet on the path to feeling well!

Just like humans, animals can suffer from rashes, allergic skin reactions, fungal infections and even bacterial infections of the skin.
The staff and veterinarians at Mercy Animal Hospital use the latest techniques to efficiently diagnose your pet's skin problems.
If you notice pets scratching, licking or biting themselves more than usual, this is a very good indication of a skin issue.
Untreated skin issues can cause lick granulomas in cats, loss of hair, and even a secondary infection from scratches that have broken the skin.

One of the most useful tools in human and animal healthcare in the last century is the use of radiography.
In common terms, radiography is x-ray technology.
X-ray is the use of a radiation pulse that projects an image of internal structures onto film or digital media.
Mercy Animal Hospital believes in using the latest technology to give their patients the best care, therefore they use digital radiography in their practice.
This means if your pet needs an x-ray, one of our staff members will help position your pet for the x-ray.

Grooming our pets is more than just giving them a haircut and placing a pretty bow on their heads.
Grooming is important to keep mats from forming on long hair dogs and cats.
Grooming can also keep hair out of pet's eyes meaning the risk of infection is lessened by this practice.
Our groomers are very experienced in identifying skin issues as well as any abnormal growths on your pet.
Your pet will receive a quality grooming treatment at Mercy Animal Hospital that includes medicated baths, anal expressions, regular baths, nail trimming and ear cleaning.
