Riverside Veterinary Care is a full-service, AAHA-accredited animal hospital that welcomes both emergency treatment cases and patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our doctors have years of experience treating severe conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting the doctor!
How do we stand out from the rest when most veterinary hospital missions and visions are essentially the same? Routinely, hospitals strive for excellence in everything they do -exceptional client service, veterinary care, and ancillary care -and maintain this excellence through continuing education and keeping abreast of technological advances. It is not uncommon to see hospitals state they look to "set the standards in veterinary and pet care."

Riverside Veterinary Care offers a variety of services so your pet can receive the best treatment possible.
As veterinary professionals and pet owners ourselves, we understand it can be challenging to provide all the care you want to give your pet when you must shuttle from one pet service to another, especially given Vermont driving distances and conditions.
To help make your experience easier, we continually review our scope of services and expand them as pets' and clients' needs dictate.
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic, you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service.

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the organization that accredits veterinary practices in the U.S. and Canada.
Nearly 60% of pet owners believe their veterinary hospital is accredited when it is not.
In fact, only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada are AAHA-accredited.
It means that our hospital holds itself to a higher standard and that your pet is receiving care at a hospital that has achieved the highest standards in veterinary care.
AAHA sends consultants every three years to evaluate us on our adherence to the AAHA Standards of Accreditation, including approximately 900 different standards of veterinary care.
