Dr. Chris Forstall, a New Orleans native, has been practicing in the area since 2005.
Dr. Forstall attended Jesuit High School then went on to the University of Mississippi for his undergraduate studies.
For his doctorate, Dr. Forstall took in the beauty of the Caribbean while at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
He returned home to Louisiana and completed his clinicals at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and has been practicing in the area since.
Dr. Forstall has now opened Southshore Animal Hospital in Metairie with the mission to work together with you as a team, to provide the best health care and quality of life possible, for all stages of your pet's life.

Dr. Jack may look familiar to most of you because he has been shadowing, Dr. Chris, since he was a senior at Jesuit High School.
Dr. Jack pursued a biology degree at the University of Alabama and came home to New Orleans every summer to gain hands on experience with our doctors and technicians.
After graduation, he returned to Louisiana to attend Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine.
During his clinicals, he completed an externship with us and graduated in May of 2020.
We are thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Jack Ferro as a full-time veterinarian.

Her son, Ty, and daughter, Emma, love coming to work with her.
She has a husband of 10 plus years, and together they have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
She is our head veterinary technician at our Transcontinental location.
Justine was raised in rural Southwest Missouri on her family's 200+ acre ranch.
She graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a minor in Ag Business.
Her son, Ty, and daughter, Emma, love coming to work with her.
