About the Role: You will be talking to clients and taking patient histories, weighing patients, and assisting your veterinarian with patient restraint, venipuncture, radiology, laboratory testing, surgical monitoring and client education.
About You: We are looking for a team player who has a positive attitude, pays attention to details, and has excellent communication skills.
Candidate must have at least one year of verifiable veterinary technician experience in a similar role.
We are looking for someone with a solid foundation of basic skills and a great attitude, and are willing to train the right candidate for this position and to also teach additional skills such as assisting in dentistry and surgery.

Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why the occasional appointment delay is inevitable.
Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For your convenience, 'drop-off' appointments are also available.
A 'drop off' means you will schedule a day that works best for you and leave your pet with us for a couple of hours or the day.
Once the doctor is done, we will call you to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.

Allowing kittens and young cats to play in an open carrier, and taking cats for short rides in their carrier acclimates them to traveling and makes them far less fearful of being placed and carried in the carrier.
Place your cats bedding, or items of your clothing in the carrier.
Cats use their scent glands to mark items in their household.
Having items with familiar scents in the carrier may have a calming effect.
Consider use of synthetic feline facial pheromone (Feliway) analog spray in the carrier at least 30 minutes prior to transport to help calm your cat.
