Upon arrival for your appointment, please call 972-412-0101 or text the number on our signs to notify us that you have arrived. Please tell us which numbered cone you are parked in front of to facilitate pet transfer. Small dogs and cats should be brought in a plastic carrier for easy disinfection after use. We request that you wear a mask, even though you will not be coming inside the building.

A team member will come to your car to get your pet. If a team member has not arrived within 10 minutes, please reach out again. We are a full service small animal veterinary clinic in Rowlett Texas (Rockwall County), a suburb of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Services
Did you know we are one of the least expensive boarding facilities in the area?
But that doesn't mean we scrimp on amenities.
In fact, check out our list of suite, run, and cage packages below to see why it's more affordable than ever to treat your pet to a luxurious stay in our Rowlett Pet Hotel.
Unlike those noisy big-box pet grooming mills that "churn out" dozens of grooms per day with little regard for your pet's experience, an AHR groom will treat your pet to a soothing, spa-like environment.
We are a full service small animal dog and cat veterinary hospital in Rowlett Texas (Rockwall County), a suburb of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Our hospital is located at 9501 Lakeview Parkway (Highway 66) just east of Dalrock Road across from Baylow Scott & White Medical Center.
Our veterinarians proudly provide veterinary medical services to pets residing in the Rowlett, Garland, Rockwall, Heath, East Dallas, Mesquite, Forney, Royse City and surrounding communities.
We also provide pet grooming and dog and cat boarding in our pet hotel.
We are always looking for exceptional reception staff, terrific technicians, technician assistants and phenomenal kennel assistants.
Although it does take someone who loves animals to work at a veterinary office, you must also love working with people and putting the client first.
Please see below for requirements on each position.
If you are interested, please fill out the application and/or come to the clinic to fill out an application packet.
We have a binder with written job descriptions for all positions that we encourage you to look over.
Our Dr. Carter recently constucted a custom-made cat tree for her cat from materials she purchased at hardware stores and IKEA.
Below are photos of her work.
Below is another example of a custom-made cat tree, this one built by one of our clients for her cat, Opie.
Many feline behavioral problems can be traced to boredom or lack of space for the feline inhabitants of the home.
Despite what we mere mortal humans consider a spacious home, the natural territorial size that a house cat considers "my own realm" often exceeds our home's size.
Every patient at our clinic receives an annual physical exam with a veterinarian to check teeth, eyes, ears, lung sounds, heart sounds, check for any lumps/bumps, etc.
This also maintains a current doctor/client/patient relationship and allows our clinic to continue prescribing any necessary medications (such as monthly heartworm prevention) throughout the year.
A new client visit is typically scheduled for 60 minutes to allow you plenty of time to meet our staff and doctors and have all questions and concerns you may have.
