Heal Veterinary Clinic
We are not taking new clients now since we only have enough schedule availability for the clients and pets who we have already made a comitment to serve. Its a tough time to do this, and we understand there are too few veterinarians for the huge surge of new pets in our area. Check back here regularly for updates to our availability. Please note that masks are required inside the building for clients and staff alike, regardless of vaccination status.

In order to minimize the number if people in the clinic, all appointments will start over the phone. Only one pet parent is allowed in the building at a time. Heal Vet is a full service small animal hospital located in the Mount Auburn neighborhood, at the intersection of Cambridge, Belmont and Watertown MA. We provide comprehensive services including wellness, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, and specialists.

Longer appointments give you more time with the doctor and a deeper understanding of your pet's health. Our specially designed modern facility and staff trained in gentle animal handling techniques reduces the stress that many pets feel at the vet.

I started drawing the faces around me as a child, and started painting with oils at age 12 - though I would later stop painting for over 20 years.
Then, as a local dog walker snapping quick shots of those who surround me during the day, I found that the images that emerged were begging to be put on canvas.
It's not so much that I'm fascinated by faces, but by the portrayal of their expressions and their stories using small brushes on big canvases.
Always, some essence behind the features comes through, and it's the magic of that slow, unraveling revelation that has me transfixed in this endeavor of painting faces.
