Dr. Beth Innis is the founder and owner of Sleepy Dog Veterinary. She is a licensed veterinarian, certified in veterinary acupuncture, veterinary chiropractic, veterinary Chinese herbal medicine, canine rehabilitation and currently studying Western herbal medicine. It is her personal mission to welcome pets and their people to a calm space filled with a caring team so that we can all take part in making their lives more healthy and happy.

In her spare time Dr. Innis enjoys yoga, reading and boating. She lives in Belmont with her husband, Tom, two daughters, two dogs, Prince Andrew and Otto, cats Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher and three guinea pigs. Veterinary Nurse Sam Hankey is not only a certified veterinary technician, but also a certified small animal massage practitioner, a Reiki master, and trained in Acupressure and Tui Na massage.

She is Dr. Beth's right hand person in all things nursing, and sees her own patients for acupressure, massage, Reiki and cold laser treatments. In her spare time Sam enjoys the outdoors, yoga and baking.
Services
Acupuncture can be helpful for many painful conditions and chronic diseases, including arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and even cancer.
Chiropractic is a form of physical treatment that helps to alleviate pain and discomfort associated with the musculoskeletal system.
Cold Laser treatment is also great for pain and inflammation.
It's non-invasive, well tolerated, and fast.
Dr. Beth and Nurse Sam use it to supplement acupuncture for those with substantial arthritis, in place of acupuncture for patients who don't tolerate needles, and on "hard to reach" acupuncture points.
Take a listen to Dr. Beth as she explains how holistic veterinary care can benefit your pet.
