Maryland Mobile Veterinary Clinic, LLC provides compassionate at-home veterinary services for dogs and cats. We now offer full service veterinary care in our facility located in historic Uniontown, just west of Westminster, MD. Including all your x-rays and surgical needs. Our mission is to provide quality veterinary care tailored to our clients' philosophy and budget.

We strive to complete this mission with compassion, friendliness, and professionalism. Maryland Mobile Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1985, and has been under the ownership of Dr. Nancy Powel since 2006 when she purchased the practice from Dr. Rosilend Lawson. Our practice territory has shifted over the years, and we now serve Carroll County. We provide a wide assortment of veterinary services in our mobile clinic.

Pets are seen by appointment.
To schedule an appointment, call the practice at 410-597-9237 or fill out a contact form.
We try our best to stay on schedule; however, some flexibility is needed due to traffic and the nature of the appointments previous to yours.
We will, of course, call you in case of great delay.
For house call visits, your pet will be examined and treated in our mobile clinic that is outfitted with the same equipment you would find in a standard veterinary practice exam room.
Working in the van, we are able to more efficiently care for your pet because the necessary equipment and supplies are within reach.
Simply request an appointment by phone or email and we will find a convenient time for you and your pet.
Depending on the flexibility of your schedule, appointments can usually be made within a week of calling.
While multi-pet households find our services especially convenient, we are happy to provide veterinary services for any client - whether they have 1 pet or 10 pets!
We see every pet in our mobile vet clinic specifically outfitted for caring for your pets.
In our mobile clinic there are few places for a pet to hide and dogs tend to be less territory aggressive when they are seen outside the home.
We are pleased to be one of the first veterinary practices in the area to offer home laser therapy services.
The most common condition we treat with the class 4 laser is arthritis.
If you prefer, we are happy to come inside your home to laser your pet.
We can also provide laser therapy inside our mobile clinic.
Laser therapy is a drug-free and surgery-free treatment that improves function and accelerates healing.
The Companion Laser Therapy system sends photons, or packets of light energy, deep into tissue without damaging it.

According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by the age of 3. Dental (or periodontal) disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets.
Even if your dog or cat doesn't have these symptoms, we recommend that you have a veterinarian evaluate your pet's dental health at least once a year.

Our pets are such an integral part of our lives, we never want to see them suffer.
When all options have been explored in making your pet comfortable, and the decision is made to say good-bye, we do our best to make the process as stress free as possible for both you and your pet.
