It was impossible at first, of course, because the organization started with a dream but no money.
So, many bike rides, garage sales, bake sales, and generous contributions from animal lovers later, a building was found and purchased.
For many years this building had been the veterinary office of Dr.
Joseph Robisheaux, and was put up for sale after his retirement.
Much work needed to be done to renovate it for use as a spay and neuter clinic, so the fundraising efforts continued with renewed intensity.

In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. Animal Alliance of Galveston County is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.
