Verner Veterinary Clinic
This veterinary practice has two locations in Fremont, Nebraska. There is an outpatient clinic located at 2345 Laverna Street, just north of Big Red Keno building. The second location is on Luther Road, 1 1/2 mile north of highway 30, north of Sid Dillon Chevrolet. Routine appointments and dispensing of medication are most commonly done at the clinic on Laverna Street.

Our staff consists of a full time licensed Veterinary Technician, Janet, an experienced office manager, Barb, and part time technicians. Janet graduated in February of 1983 from National College in Rapid City, South Dakota, and has over 37 years in the veterinary profession. Barb is a graduate of The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has worked with the practice for over 15 years.

Dr. Verner graduated from The University of Missouri in 1973 and was part of a mixed practice in eastern Nebraska until coming to Fremont to open this particular practice in 1976. Our staff will attempt to accommodate all requests for an appointment to the best of our ability.
Emergencies are accepted at our clinic, and if you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call to arrange for assistance.
Please call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
Emergencies are generally handled by the veterinarian and one technician working together.

Verner Veterinary Clinic participates in an array of community events throughout the year.
Our goal is to promote animal care and health.
For a number of years, Janet took her dogs to the Kindergarden Spring Fling.
This function involved exposing kindergardeners around the Fremont area to various careers/jobs in the Fremont area.
Dr. Verner and Janet have been assisting in cat shows for both the Fremont 4-H Fair and the Washington County Fair for a number of years.
The practice frequently participates in fundraisers for non-profit organizations within the community.
