At Nebraska Equine, we build relationships to provide exceptional veterinary care for your horse. Mike Black, Kim Conover, Amy Cook and Michael Thomassen are licensed veterinarians, specializing in equine medicine.

Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic is a full service equine (horse, donkey, mule) only clinic that treats everything from emergencies to routine vaccinations. When you are looking for a veterinary clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service.
During this period, animals that are not in compliance with this rule will not receive points or be eligible for Federation and/or USHJA programs and awards.
After this period, all horses that are competing in classes which require USHJA registration which are not microchipped will be ineligible to compete in Federation licensed competitions.

You can verify your compliance program with the barn manager or owner.
Your Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic invoice of vaccinations serves as your proof of vaccination for USEF events.
The 6400-square-foot facility features two exam rooms, a surgery suite with two induction/recovery rooms, in-house laboratory, federally approved EIA/Coggins laboratory, spacious reception area, and 12 hospital stalls.
In addition to routine/preventative care such as immunizations and de-worming, Nebraska Equine offers advanced lameness diagnostics, reproductive work, routine and emergency surgery.
Breeding mares and caring for foals are major daily endeavors at Nebraska equine, especially during spring and summer.
The many reproductive services we offer include stallion collection; semen evaluations; breeding mares via fresh-collected, cooled-shipped, or frozen semen; dealing with problem mares; and embryo transfer.
We also provide care for foals, ranging from preventive programs for the newborn to diagnosis and treatment of the sick foal.
Dr. Black helped us with a colt with a blocked tear duct and was very patient and informative!
Dr. Kim Conover was very friendly with lots of information on how to Doctor my mare with a very bad cut over her fetlock joint.
The videos on their website were very helpful also!
