Proudly serving the Prospect area community since 1977. They take such great care of my blind poodle mix! He has his vet care, grooming, and boarding there when I need to go out of town. He's not the easiest little boy to care for, but somehow they manage to keep him healthy and happy! Goshen Animal Clinic's staff are the best. We have only had the best of service for all of the years (almost 18 years) that we have been going there.
Followed my previous veterinarian all the way from Valley Station. Love Dr. Roth who as always is kind and compassionate.

Just like you, we want your pet to live the longest, healthiest life possible.
That starts with the basics: quality food, enough exercise, good grooming, and yes, regular check-ups.
Weighing and measuring to prevent pet obesity, and nutrition/activity consultation if needed.
While we advise annual exams and blood work for all adult dogs and cats, we do encourage twice-yearly exams and blood work for senior animals.
Though pets age differently based on breed and size, most dogs are considered seniors around age 7; cats reach senior status at about 9.

Every year millions of stray and unwanted animals are euthanized in shelters across the United States.
Many of these deaths are the avoidable result of owners failing to spay and neuter their pets.
Even if you keep a close watch on your pet, accidents happen, and unexpected offspring means more animals that won't be given the chance at full, happy lives.
Spaying and neutering can help end this cycle, and both procedures can have health benefits for pets.
By the way: there's no truth to the myths that altered pets are less intelligent or will get fat as a result of being sterilized, and females do not need to have a litter-or even go into heat-before they are spayed.

Fleas, ticks and mosquitoes aren't just a summer problem!
In our part of the country, year-round prevention is key to making sure your pet is protected from these pests and the diseases they may carry.
Fleas often trigger dermatitis, tapeworm and hot spots; one tick bite can transmit numerous dangerous diseases and mosquitoes carry potentially deadly heartworm.
In addition to preventive medications, you should thoroughly check your pets for fleas and ticks if they've been outdoors.
Although fleas and ticks can be anywhere on your pet's body, they prefer posting up near the head, ears, neck and paws.
