Brentwood Country Animal Hospital opened in 1995 with the vision of providing optimal health care for our patients while establishing a lasting partnership with our clients. We offer a variety of services including routine surgery, dentistry, and x-ray with an emphasis on preventative medicine. We treat your pets as we would our own.
Services
Cold laser therapy uses the application of light to stimulate cellular regeneration and help promote tissues to heal after trauma or infection.
It also reduces inflammation which in turn relieves pain and discomfort.
This is a holistic, non-invasive treatment option that is well tolerated by our furry friends and takes mere minutes per treatment.
We are very excited to be able to offer this in addition to our more conventional modalities.
We are now performing laser therapy on all of our post-operative patients to aid and shorten the healing process.
Dental disease is one of the most common medical problems that affect our pets, with up to 70% of dogs and cats showing signs by the time they are 2 years old.
Untreated dental disease can potentially spread infection to your pet's heart, kidneys, and liver, causing much more serious health issues.
It can also be quite painful.
Brentwood Country Animal Hospital offers an array of dental services and products to help keep your pet's teeth and mouth healthy.
We examine your pet's teeth during their annual wellness exams and offer products, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental chews, and water additives to help you take care of their teeth at home.
Brentwood Country Animal Hospital uses digital radiography to provide fast, high-quality x-rays that can aid in the diagnosis of many diseases, including respiratory, cardiac and GI issues, as well as broken bones or torn ligaments.
We also refer radiographs to a boarded radiologist for consultation, when indicated.
We take dental x-rays for all patients who undergo a professional dental cleaning, in order to get a full picture of their oral health and to help diagnose problems that may exist below the gum line.
Making the decision to euthanize a pet and to say goodbye is one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner ever has to make.
Our veterinarians can help you determine your pet's quality of life and determine whether euthanasia is the best decision to help prevent your pet's suffering.
Once you have made the decision to euthanize, we work with you to help make the process of saying goodbye as stress-free as possible.
We also offer several options for your pet's final resting place, including cremation with ashes returned to you.
We scan pets with microchips every year at their wellness visits to make sure the chip is functioning properly.
Microchipping your pet provides a permanent form of identification that lasts for your pet's entire life, and can help ensure that your pet can be reunited with you if they become lost.
Microchips can be implanted during a regular appointment, without sedation.
We also offer this service during spay and neuter procedures, while your pet is anesthetized.
