Dr. Kelleher is a native of the North Hampton community, having attended both grade school and high school in the area.
He has always been around animals, spending many years involved with 4-H, and having been exposed to and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, cattle, and goats while in grade and high school.
His studies at Michigan State University earned him a Bachelor's Degree in Dairy Science and provided excellent preparation for veterinary studies at the Ohio State University.
After graduating from Ohio State, Dr. Kelleher practiced in Brattleboro, VT with emphasis exclusively with farm animals, primarily the dairy farms of the Connecticut River Valley.
He has always been around animals, spending many years involved with 4-H, and having been exposed to and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, cattle, and goats while in grade and high school.
