Dental disease is affecting 80% of dogs and cats, but you can stop it in a quick and easy way.
Pet eats -> food stuck between teeth -> digested by bacteria in the mouth -> forms plaque -> gingivitis (inflamed, infected gums) -> plaque hardens to form tartar/calculus -> pushes under the gum line -> deeper infection of the teeth/root/gums known as periodontal (dental) disease -> loose teeth, bone loss, tooth root abscesses, bacteria shedding into the bloodstream -> bacteria spreads throughout the body -> can damage the heart, kidneys, liver, etc.

Cat anesthesia is used in association with any type of procedure for which the cat needs to be immobilized or during any type of surgery where the cat would otherwise feel pain.
Cat sedatives allow us to keep your cat perfectly still and free of pain during the surgery.
During anesthesia, your cat will be in an unconscious state and will not feel any discomfort.
There are always risks that come with any surgery, but the risks are very low thanks to the experienced veterinary team here at Forever Pet Dental.

Here are some amazing before and after photos of a cat that recently had his or her teeth cleaned at Forever Pet Dental.
As you can see, his teeth have quite a bit of tartar build-up, but after the cleaning, they're clean and bright!
His owner was amazed at the photos and has mentioned that his breath is much improved still.
Cat owners are often unaware of how important veterinary dental cleanings are for cats too.
Keeping your cat's teeth clean can greatly reduce dental problems down the road.

The vast majority of imaging is non-invasive and completely painless.
However, some imaging may require sedation or even anesthesia because the cat must be kept still to allow for adequate images to be produced.
Veterinarians use these images to collect information on your cat to help them to make a medical and sometimes surgical plan.
After your veterinarian has examined your cat, he or she may want to begin to collect more information that will lead to a diagnosis and then, a treatment plan.
X-rays are usually the first line of imaging.
