Our goal is to provide you and your pets with a high level of veterinary medicine and surgery, in a caring manner. The Dayton Valley Veterinary "Clinic" was established in downtown Dayton in 1992.

Dr. Mary Minor, a 4th generation Nevadan, born and raised in Dayton, bought the practice in 1999 and upgraded the practice from a clinic to a full service "Hospital." In 2004 Dayton Valley Veterinary Hospital moved to its new facility, a 6,000 square foot "state-of-the-art" facility located conveniently at #14 Enterprise just off Highway 50 in the Dayton Valley.

We are pleased to serve our community and look forward to assisting you in the care and well being of your family pets. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Mary Minor, who is a licensed, experienced Dayton veterinarian.

Dayton Valley Veterinary Hospital INC stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
We have a state-of-the-art full service laboratory as well as remote specialty testing services.
Separate treatment and dental cleaning stations, large radiology suite, large surgery and special procedures suite-routine and advanced surgical procedures.
In house veterinary specific pharmacy and a retail shoppe with routine animal health supplies and specialty gifts for your pets.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
When you first arrive at the Dayton Valley Veterinary Hospital you will notice we have three separate entrances and waiting areas.
One for cats, one for dogs and one if your animal is ill and possibly contagious.
Your dog should be on a leash for its own safety and that of other pets in the waiting room area.
Cats should be in a carrier to make them feel safe and protect them from escape or injury during transport.
Animals that are sick and possibly contagious have direct access to an isolation area with a separate outside entrance to ensure healthy pets are not exposed.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
Dayton Valley Veterinary Hospital highly recommends clients invest in pet insurance, especially for puppies & kittens.
Many different carriers are available.
Dayton Valley Veterinary Hospital is pleased to announce that we are now offering laser therapy to our patients.
If your four legged loved one is soar in a certain area, having trouble with arthritis, or is having trouble walking, talk to one of our doctors about starting them on laser therapy.
We offer one time sessions, and also a gold star package, or platinum package.
