Services
Tri-County Small Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital with a pharmacy, on-site digital x-ray capabilities, a surgery suite with state-of-the-art technology, and a supervised recovery area.
Our highly trained, compassionate staff support our outstanding licensed veterinarians.
Our practice spans a wide range of small animal patients, including dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, sugar gliders and rabbits.
We'll even see other small animals under certain circumstances, so give us a call at (865) 435-1374 to see how we can help you!
Annual exams are your pet's first line of defense.
Tri-County Small Animal Hospital's comprehensive annual exams include checking their overall health by taking their temperature, examining skin and coat, lung and cardiac function, internal health, oral hygiene, eyes, ears, and demeanor.
Keeping your canine or feline up to date on vaccinations is a highly effective way to prevent many common diseases and infections like distemper and deadly rabies.
Beyond those core vaccines, your pet's age, lifestyle, and likely exposure to certain diseases will be evaluated before we recommend additional shots.
Dental care is so important to your pet's long-term health!
We recommend annual dental cleanings and offer full dental services, including exams, cleaning and polishing, digital x-rays and extractions.
Three levels of complete dental services are available.
All levels include a physical exam, pre-anesthetic blood tests, heart monitoring while under anesthesia, and antibiotics; levels 2 and 3 are more extensive.
We always use gas anesthesia-the safest available.
We are proud to offer a full range of surgical services from standard spaying and neutering to highly specialized procedures in our state-of-the-art surgical facilities.
Our veterinary team will walk you through the entire process, giving you the tools you need to make informed decisions about your pet's treatment options.
We understand surgery is a stressful topic for any owner, and we're available every step of the way to answer questions and put your mind at ease.
If you are considering surgery for your pet, please contact us to schedule an introductory consultation by calling (865) 435-1374.
When quick diagnostic results are needed, we can run a variety of tests right here at the clinic.
This includes complete blood counts, general chemistries, electrolytes, and some urine and fecal tests.
Heartworm and fecal tests can tell us if parasites are present, and blood screenings and urinalysis tell us how organs and systems are functioning.
With regular testing, we can catch disease early and start treatment sooner when it is most effective.
We have in-house digital radiography (x-rays), and we can send the images to a board-certified radiologist when needed.
