A bordatella ("kennel cough") vaccine to protect them from the bordatella virus which can lead to pneumonia in puppies.
A lyme vaccination if they live in a wooded area, if there is a large deer population where you live, or if you camp/hike a lot with your dog.
Monthly heartworm preventative and flea & tick prevention obtained from your veterinarian.
Senior bloodwork every 6 months to detect problems with your dog's kidneys, liver, gall bladder, thyroid, red and white blood cells.
Continue core vaccines (distemper and rabies).
