Our staff treats you and your pet like family from the moment you walk in the door. We always ensure that you are well informed about your pet's care and are comfortable with the decisions being made. We provide a variety of services including medical checkups and procedures, boarding, and providing supplies. Mahan Animal Clinic was founded in 1998, and Dr. Scott Pliskin took over sole ownership in 2000.
Since its founding, we have striven for exemplary care and service. We are happy to welcome your questions regarding any health or behavioral issue your pet may be experiencing, including exotic animals. Dr. Pliskin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Education and spent five years teaching in public schools in his native New York City, and later in South Florida.
Se habla espanol! Dr. Pliskin received his training in veterinary medicine and animal husbandry at the National University of Mexico in Mexico City. We also test for intestinal worms and heartworms. Cat immunizations come in two categories, indoor and outdoor.
