Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital offers advanced, comprehensive, and compassionate veterinary care to the dogs and cats of New York's premier residential area. We don't just respond to symptoms and emergencies, we build relationships with clients and patients to prevent health issues and promote quality of life. We love this Vet! Everyone is professional and friendly and we are completely confident with their care and ability.

Everyone at LSVH is cheerful, efficient and helpful. This is the only vet office I know of, where my dog does not shake, but instead wags his tail upon entering! We have always been greeted with smiles and a terrific attitude. Each and every one of the doctors make me feel like they love my pet almost as much as I do. I always have a very good feeling that Georgie is being taken care of in the best possible way.

I also find the staff very polite, and helpful. All of them (the vets, the techs, the receptionists) are kind and gentle in handling all animals (including humans).

Everyone is professional and friendly and we are completely confident with their care and ability.
Advanced pet care involves a focus on both the patient and the client.
That means delivering treatment to dogs and cats in an accredited facility, as well as providing an immaculate facility that doesn't rush their owners in or out.
Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital boasts the finest pet care on the Upper West Side focusing on the following areas:.
Comprehensive and advanced delivery of services is paramount to proper pet health care.
But, if it isn't accompanied by compassion and patience, it isn't world-class.
If you see veterinary care as a treat-the-symptom kind of service, you're not seeing the full pet care picture.
Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital can help.
From healthy treats to specially formulated dry food that strengthen your senior pet's joints, we provide what your pet needs.
Our staff are also happy to discuss the benefits of particular products, so you go home informed.
Puppies and kittens brought to us are put on a regimen to prevent the diseases common to their species.
We recommend bordetella and influenza vaccines if a pet is being boarded at a kennel or goes to the groomer.
Jane Kosovsky, DVM, is our surgeon, with two decades of surgical experience since completing her residency at Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York.
From making sure your pet can handle anesthesia to giving you instructions on what can and can't be eaten the day before, our team will establish a safe operating environment to optimize your dog's or cat's surgical experience.
The night before your pet's surgery, it is best to give them only water after midnight.
Traveling to the vet and not eating one's normal breakfast can stress your pet, so we ask that you leash your dog and crate your cat before entering the hospital.
Our services are only as good as they are appropriate.
Diagnostic testing, run through our in-house laboratory, is how we determine an effective treatment for your pet.
When your dog or cat is excessively scratching or sneezing or dripping from the eyes, it's likely he or she is experiencing an allergic reaction to the environment or to food.
We'll run skin tests and blood tests to determine exactly what it is that's bugging your pet.
This noninvasive diagnostic technique can be used for far more than examining pregnant bellies.
