Services
Radiographs provide internal images of your pet to help diagnose conditions that couldn't otherwise be seen.
Such conditions could include a blockage or foreign body, broken or fractured bones, constipation, bloated stomach, or bladder stones.
Should your pet require x-rays, our doctors are eager to share the images with you and explain their findings.
Treatment options will be provided at this time so that your pet may receive the best possible care.

At Moosehead Trail Veterinary Hospital, we perform surgical and dental procedures four days a week, so we can usually schedule your pet within a week or two of when you call.
Our most common procedures include but are not limited to: orchidectomy (neuter), ovariohysterectomy (spay), growth or mass removal, foreign body removal, quill removal, and minor orthopedic procedures.

It is very important that our furry family members be seen once or twice a year, even if they appear to be healthy.
Annual wellness examinations allow a veterinarian to assess your pet's overall health and well-being.
At this time any questions and/or concerns that you may have can be discussed with the doctor.
So what does an exam consist of?
Your pet's vital signs will be measured, including weight, body temperature, and heart rate, usually by one of our licensed technicians.
Next, a brief history will be noted, including how your pet has been feeling, what he or she eats and how much, elimination habits, and any abnormal behavior.
