Dr. Watkins was raised in North Logan, UT.
He attended local schools including Utah State University, where he did his undergraduate work.
He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University.
He and his wife Michele enjoyed their time in Fort Collins, CO and look back at their college years with fondness.
Dr. Watkins cherishes the opportunity to work daily with animals and their owners and recognizes and appreciates the compassion that animal owners have for their pets and livestock.
If you're planning a vacation and can't bring your family pet along, we offer safe, reliable pet boarding services.
With highly trained and knowledgeable staff, your pet will receive the quality care that they deserve.
Our staff adheres to strict handling, cleanliness, and safety guidelines so your pet is in trusted hands.
As an added benefit, we do have veterinary staff on hand to take care of any health related issues that may occur while you are away.
While these occurrences are rare, you can rest assured knowing that your pet is safe and sound.
Our office is dedicated to providing pets with compassionate care.
In offering cardiology services, we can better evaluate and treat heart and lung diseases, working towards improving quality of life.
Annual pet wellness exams enable our staff to detect early indicators of heart disease that could potentially save your pet's life - just one more reason why an annual check-up is important for your pet's well-being.
Diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, is initially used when a disease or condition is suspected.
In an added effort to provide your pet with quality care, we offer pet dental services in our veterinary office.
Periodontal disease common in pets.
It is an infection of the gums surrounding the teeth/gums that happens as a result of tartar and plaque build-up.
While periodontal disease is entirely preventable, when left untreated it can lead to tooth loss, cardiac disease, kidney infection, liver infection, or stroke.
Pets can experience many of the same dental issues that humans do, including gingivitis, periodontal disease, necessary tooth extraction, and deep scaling.
