Spaying or neutering is often done around 6 months of age, but your veterinarian will discuss what age is best for your pet depending on their breed and medical history.
With all our surgical patients we do require an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure, answer any questions you may have, ensure vaccinations are current and draw pre-anesthetic blood work.
