Services
Wellness care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy and happy throughout life.
Whether you have a cat or dog, it's important to provide your pet with regular veterinary examinations and preventative treatments designed to safeguard his or her longevity and wellbeing.
A wellness appointment for a pet is a veterinary appointment scheduled on a regular basis (usually annually or bi-annually).
We encourage wellness examinations for monitoring your pet's health while also providing preventative care services.
Vaccinations are the most important part of every cat's and dog's preventative care.
Vaccines are designed to protect pets from contracting and spreading dangerous, highly contagious diseases.
Many of the diseases that vaccines prevent are zoonotic diseases, which means they're also transmissible to humans.
So, vaccinating your pets not only keeps them safe and healthy, but it also protects your human family members, too!
Pet vaccines work just like human vaccines.
The vaccination safely exposes your pet's immune system to a small amount of partial or inactive virus.
Our pets, unfortunately, live much shorter lives than we do.
As a result, it's our responsibility to be there for them and provide them with everything they need until the very end.
As your cat or dog ages, the type of care he or she needs will change.
By adjusting your pet's diet, exercise routine, and veterinary care, you can keep your cat or dog healthy, happy, and active long into the golden years.
As your pet's veterinary care needs change with age, Pacific Animal Hospital adjusts our services to meet their needs.
Although our veterinarians always recommend the least-invasive treatment options possible, surgery is still sometimes necessary for pets.
No matter what type of procedure your pet needs, having a pet undergo surgery can be stressful.
At Pacific Animal Hospital, your pet is in good hands.
Our expert veterinary surgeon and experienced staff will do our best to put you at ease while giving your pet the best possible care.
Before your pet's procedure, we'll ensure you fully understand the benefits and risks of surgery and that you are aware of all available treatment options.
Although we brush and floss every day, many pet owners don't realize how important professional dental care and routine oral hygiene are for their pets' health.
Just like people, cats and dogs need dental care to keep their smiles (and their bodies) healthy.
Without care, plaque and tartar accumulate on a pet's teeth.
As it builds over time, pockets develop between the gums and teeth where harmful bacteria thrive.
Left unchecked, this bacteria becomes an infection called periodontal or gum disease.
