Sweet Sunshine arrived at our back door via pet carrier in 2010. We had six wonderful years working with her, and sadly said goodbye to our sweet girl in May of 2016. She made our work days that much better, will forever be our ray of sunshine. Rest easy, sweet girl. For specific treatments such as ultrasounds, cardiology consultations, and orthopedic surgeries, we have the pleasure of working with board certified specialists that come to our practice to treat your pet! Dr. Fred Brewer is a board certified (American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) veterinary cardiologist. Dr. Shirley Cheng was born and raised in Los Angeles. She attended Cornell University for undergraduate studies, where she received a BS in Animal Science. Dr. Yelinek is a Massachusetts native, but has been a resident and family veterinarian in the South Bay for the last thirty years.

We are a friendly veterinary center with the family pet in mind, and comfort being the central theme for all concerned.
Prior to opening, Dr. Yelinek provided house call services to the South Bay and Los Angeles communities for more than 20 years.
Although we now have our own facility to call "home, " we still recognize the necessity for home visits.
For the comfort of our patients while staying at the Redondo Shores Veterinary Center, we have separate dog and cat patient wards.
We are also equipped with respiratory, blood pressure, oxygen, and heart rhythm monitoring devices, as well as a separate isolation ward.
