She is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana and Illinois, and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
Prior to starting VET, Sara worked for her father's business, Fields Environmental, Inc. doing environmental consulting work, specifically soil and groundwater remediation. Sara is trained as an environmental engineer and served as an engineer officer in the Army from 2004 to 2009 after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2004.
