Public Vet
Our pets should be a source of health and healing, not disease. Our goal is to identify issues adversely impacting wellness and help our clients improve the health of their human-animal companionships. Know a feral colony? Let us know. Public Vet will assist in finding the help needed for each situation. In an effort to decrease the impact feral cats have on our environment and prevent suffering, we subsidize the costs for unsocialized cats that are brought in live traps.

Fleas are a major public health risk. Fleas transmit bacterial infections that cause physical and mental illness and those who are infected are the least likely to get help. Fleas also transmit other parasites too like worms! You address flea infestations. Ask for help!
Services
Our goal is to identify communities that are at risk, and provide & improve the quality of life of the Animals and pets within it.
Public Veterinary Service targets the Community, using veterinary care as an incentive to network and educate every community we work in.
We typically work directly with public figures as in animal control officers or humane societies.
Our goal is to identify communities that are overpopulated and at high risk and address any factors that adversely affect health.
We organize veterinary, epidemiological & educational resources tailored to the communities needs.
Fixed pets form stronger bonds with you and dont have other things on there mind, like how good that pee smells.
Public Vet has one goal that is One Health.
Improving the health and care of wild cats, directly improves the health of the entire community.
One of the oldest diseases documented, and still the most deadly Rabies can infect ALL warm blooded animals, you and your pets.
Our primary focus, first and foremost, is the health and welfare of each individual patient.
Because we follow a One Health approach, we also want to educate and help the owners be better caretakers of the animals in their lives, as well as educate and help protect them from human health issues that can be spread through zoonotic diseases.
Payment due with Cash or Money Order ONLY on day of clinic at check-in or discharge.
We ask people to pay for services for their cats, but sometimes they can't.
Our interest is in making sure that animal companionships are providing health and wellness, not disease.
Our doctors and staff will assess the health of your cat and help it get the care it needs.
Unowned cat populations are the source of great debate and problems for communities.
Public Vet works with concerned community members to meet the needs of these cats so they do not introduce disease and conflict.
Public Vet seeks to provide a minimum standard of care for all animals and care to each according to their needs.
Our Veterinary Health Events allow us to network with the communities we serve, provide life-saving care to the animals, and collect data on the disease load in the community.
The majority of emerging infectious diseases come from animal reservoirs.
By serving a large cross-section of the animal populations, we are able to identify and address the health needs of animal populations that pose the greatest risks to community health.
