Dr. Brian Barone is a 2004 graduate of The Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He was born and raised in Azle Texas. After graduating from vet school, Dr. Barone worked full time at two different mixed animal practices in Jacksonville followed by a few years doing independent relief work in Lufkin and the surrounding areas.

In 2012 Dr. Barone joined the staff at a busy emergency clinic in Longview Texas where he remained, until a long standing desire to return to his home town led him to purchase Gieb Veterinary Clinic(now Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital) from Dr. James Gieb in June of 2014.Dr. Bauer is a 2016 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.

As a full time associate, she brings a unique energy and enthusiasm to Gieb Veterinary Clinic. She has proven to be an exemplary doctor showing incredible compassion and the highest standards of care. Clients and patients love her! She has 2 dogs she takes hiking, jogging and exploring! They are professionals at holding the couch down though!

Having an examination on your pet annually will ensure his/her quality of life.
We at Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital take pride in making sure your pet is in great health.
After the age of 7, when your pet is considered a senior, we recommend an annual examination twice a year to monitor common diseases that occur with age such as arthritis and kidney disease.
Required vaccinations are vital for your pets health status and quality of life.
What your pet will recieve and will need will depend on his/her weight, age, vaccination history and the duration between the time of those shots.
Any warm blooded animal can carry the rabies virus.
By law both dogs and cats are required to have a rabies vaccination every year for Parker County residents, and can be given by your veterinarian at 3 months of age.
Following the American Heart Worm Society's guidelines, we require annual testing to ensure your pet remains infection free causing continual damage.
