Prevention really is the best medicine, especially when it comes to your pet's health care.
Regular wellness and preventive care can ward off infectious diseases, such as parvo, kennel cough, and feline leukemia, and parasitic infections.
Regular exams and diagnostics help us establish a baseline health profile for which to compare future visits, so we can tell if your pet's health has changed.
Preventive care also helps us detect subtle signs that indicate something is not quite right with your pet, which can lead to earlier disease diagnosis.
Digital radiography - Our digital X-ray unit can be used to obtain images of a variety of structures, including the heart, lungs, abdominal structures, and bones.
Ultrasonography - Ultrasound provides a detailed three-dimensional image of your pet's soft tissue structures, and is often used to view abdominal organs.
Dental radiography - Dental X-rays allow us to diagnose oral diseases and injuries, such as periodontal disease and tooth deterioration.
In-house diagnostics - We can perform a variety of blood, urine, and fecal tests to screen for diseases that can affect your pet.
Pre-anesthetic exam and diagnostics - We will perform a thorough physical exam and blood work prior to your pet's procedure to ensure they are healthy, and they can metabolize the anesthetic medications used.
Individualized anesthetic protocols - We will formulate an anesthetic protocol for your pet based on their unique needs and health status, instead of using the same medications and techniques for every patient.
This way, we can choose the safest plan for your pet.
Constant monitoring - Our highly trained veterinary team will be by your pet's side, monitoring their heart rate, respirations, temperature, and blood pressure, throughout the procedure.
We are proud to offer a variety of mobile services to equine patients in Weatherford and the surrounding communities.

We can help you ensure a successful breeding experience by performing breeding soundness exams, following your mare's cycle to determine the best time for breeding, and monitoring your horse throughout pregnancy.
