Dr. Klein is a 1993 graduate of Texas A & M Veterinary School and is a native of the Helotes area. We offer Veterinary care for dogs, cats, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, cattle, pocket pets and some birds. Our priority is care and compassion at all times. Hooves & Paws practices up-to-date medicine in a family-oriented environment. Originally from New Mexico, with over 45 years in the animal medical field working with Chimps, many other nonhuman primates, Big Cats, Domestic Cats and Dogs, Rodents, Birds, and Reptiles.
Our resident "Crazy Cat Lady" has a zoo at home. Animals have been an intricate part of my life for as far back as I could remember. I was taught a deep appreciation and respect for them at a very young age. It only mad sense that I followed that path into adulthood. That path sarted in an animal shelter and has now lead me to where I am now. I earned a B.S. in Agriculture with a focus on Animal Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2009.
