Healing Hands Veterinary Hospital
The concept of Healing Hands Veterinary Services has originated fourteen years ago when our founder first began the journey of incorporating Eastern medicine with the standard Western medicine and practices. This allowed us to practice modern veterinary medicine with complementary elements in order to raise our standard of care for our patients. We love our patients, and we treat your pets as we treat our own.

While the majority of our practice handles all routine aspects of veterinary care, we offer some extra special interests including physical rehabilitation and complementary medicine. Limiting our practice to cats and dogs allows us to focus our efforts well on providing the best quality of care for our patients. Our doctors have a combined experience of fifty years in the practice of small animal veterinary medicine.

Our staff boasts over sixty years' experience between them. We strive to exceed our clients expectations through personalized, committed service and care for our patients with compassionate, conscientious medicine.
Services
Healing Hands Veterinary Hospital is a full service veterinary clinic offering a broad range of care including wellness, routine surgeries, sick visits, and in-house specialist consultations.
From our on-site pharmacy, diagnostic laboratory, and doctor-supervised overnight care, we strive to fulfill all your pets needs.
Acupuncture is the use of tiny needles to stimulate a healing process and provide pain relief.
Electro-acupuncture also sends electric currents to those areas to stimulate the nerve endings deep inside the tissue below acupressure points.
Rather than treating specific diseases as acupuncture does, electro-acupuncture has been shown to work well for chronic pain relief.
Dogs who have chronic pain or severe pain from arthritis tend to show an improved range of motion and relief of pain after electro-acupuncture treatments.
Canine and feline rehabilitation is the utilization of physical therapy techniques on dogs and cats.
Physical therapy has benefits our human population and now those same techniques are used for our pets.
Physical rehabilitation can provide recovery of functions by reducing the complication caused by injury, surgery, neurological dysfunctions, tendonitis, fractures, arthritis, obesity, and many other medical conditions.
Laser Therapy, or photobiomodulation, is the use of specific wavelengths of infra-red light to create therapeutic effects.
These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation, and decreased swelling.
We currently use the laser for many conditions, including arthritis, muscular injury, trauma, postoperative care, wound healing, inflammation control, skin infections, and tissue and bone regeneration.
Hydrotherapy for dogs via an aquatic treadmill can be used in the treatment of arthritis, cardiovascular conditions, orthopedic conditions, muscle development, ligament and many other types of injury.
The hydrotherapy also helps with general convalescence, obesity, and fitness training.
Water in the canine aquatic treadmill creates buoyancy that displaces approximately 40% of body weight.
This helps in reducing stress on joints while minimizing pain and allows easier movement and extended range of motion for stiff joints and provides exercise.
