It never takes too long for a new four-legged friend to become part of the family. Whether it's a tiny kitten or an adult rescue dog, their unconditional love is infectious! You do what you can to make sure they're happy, comfortable, and safe. But when something is wrong (and can't be cured by a treat), you want to find out what it is. With decades of experience, the staff at the Woodbury WellHaven are here to help.

We provide thorough examinations, offer a clean and comfortable environment for you and your pet, and promise to do everything we can to get them up and running around - or contently napping in a sunbeam - again. On any given day at any vet clinic, there are a lot of emotions on display. The excitement of bringing in a new pup for their first exam to the worry that follows when your cat gets into something they shouldn't have.

Many of our staff are pet owners, too, and we experience the same ups and downs. WellHaven was created to give vets and technicians the support they need so they can focus on what you and your pet need.
Services
We've put our heart and soul into every inch of our clinic.
We work hard to ensure that every single visit is met with smiling faces and a clean and calm environment.
Dr. Veronica Nagel graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in Zoology and Anthropology.
She became care giver at a primate rescue center in Florida, when she slowly realized her passion for medicine and caring for animals.
She continued her education at University of Minnesota, where she received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.
Whether you're bringing home a new puppy or kitten or spending the golden years with your senior pet, we'll be there.
WellHaven Pet Health Woodbury is a full-service animal hospital, offering everything from wellness care to pet surgery services, and everything in between.
If you're experiencing an emergency, we'll be there for that, too.

Please note: we are a dog and cat clinic only.
WellHaven was born of the conviction that each veterinarian and pet parent makes a difference when it comes to the profession as a whole.
We take our new puppy here.
The staff is great, and they have a monthly plan if you value not paying for every office visit.
We opted to go without it but have been happy with our puppy's first few months of vet care so far.
We also recently tried their doggy daycare.
After a very negative experience with another daycares/boarding kennel, Wellhaven was so much better.
Our puppy couldn't wait to go each day, they do temperament tests to ensure only safe dogs are accepted, the facility is incredibly clean and attended by staff the entire day.
We're here for all stages of your pet's life.
In many respects, care for your furry family member should resemble the care the rest of the family gets.
Just like well visits for children and checkups for adults, annual examinations allow us to keep track of your pet's wellbeing.
When you bring in your pet for the first time, we'll be able to establish an overall baseline for your pet which will lead to health recommendations and decisions going forward.
Annual exams are an important part of your pet's ongoing care.
Let us help protect your pet.
Annual vaccinations, monthly treatments for fleas, ticks, and other parasites, and regularly scheduled office visits all play a part in keeping your pet in good physical condition.
By protecting your pet against preventable illness and disease, you give your pet the best chance at a long, healthy life.
Many of the diseases and illnesses that can affect dogs and cats are preventable through proper pet vaccinations and annual wellness exams.
The WellHaven team is here to keep your pet happy and healthy through all stages of their life.
