She grew up in Cary North Carolina and attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State.
She graduated in 1994 and chose to remain in the area.
Since that time, she has found great joy working as a small animal practitioner.
In 2006 she became interested in veterinary acupuncture and attended the IVAS acupuncture course to obtain special training.
Shortly after, she started TenderTouch to provide a home acupuncture service.
During that time, she continued to work at other hospitals providing traditional veterinary care.
She graduated in 1994 and chose to remain in the area.
