At Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital, we're committed to providing you with the best care possible for your pet. We prioritize one-on-one customer service so that you and your pet are comfortable through every step of the process. As leaders in the Raleigh area, we pride ourselves in investing in the advanced technology and continued learning opportunities for our veterinary and office staff to ensure that we're always providing you exceptional care.

Above all, our mission is to help you provide your pet with the long and enjoyable life that he or she deserves. Dr. George Ghneim moved to downtown Raleigh from San Francisco in 2003 with the intent of staying for just a few years. Despite his intentions, he quickly fell in love with the people, the community and the animals of Raleigh. In 2016, Dr. Ghneim joined the Vets Pets family of veterinary practices as a partner and lead veterinarian at Wake Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care.

Recognizing the need to bring additional customer service-focused veterinary care to an expanding community, Dr. Ghneim and Vets Pets made the decision to open three Oak Heart Veterinary Hospitals in 2019.

As soon as we arrive in the morning the pets are first walked and then fed their morning meal.
They will receive a total of four walks a day: before breakfast, mid-day, in the afternoon, and in the evening in order to take care of any potty needs.
Throughout the day pets are housed in our spacious kennel runs.
Sibling pets also have the option to board together in our larger runs if requested.
Getting a new puppy, hoping to change your dog's bad habits, or looking to improve their manners?
We offer a selection of training options to help achieve the behavioral goals for your dog!
Dayschool: Day School is offered Monday through Friday, and is a fantastic option for busy, on-the-go lifestyles, or to keep your best friend's manners impeccable.
Our program is flexible and customized to each family's needs, providing training for leash manners, recalls, relaxation techniques, cooperative care and husbandry, sports foundations, and more!
